If you are playing alphabet animals, it is likely that the first animal to be said when it comes to the letter "e" is Elephant. Elephants are mysterious animals which capture our interest and you can't help but be intrigued by one of the biggest animals on the world.
Elephants are also very popular in photography and artwork, here are a few examples showing our love of elephants.

African and Asian Elephants - Can you tell the difference?
African and Asian elephants are quite distinct from each other and I have heard it said that the only similarities between the two is that they are both big land mammals that have a trunk and some form of tusks. Can you tell the differences?
If you thought the first picture was an African elephant and the second was an Asian elephant, then you would be right! African elephants are usually larger, with bigger ears, longer tusks. The head of Asian elephants have two humps and a dented forehead. Their trunks only have one finger, whereas the African elephants have two fingers. These are just a few of the many differences between the two.
